EC Studio is a private social media management tool operated by EC Web Design (https://ec-webdesign.fr). EC Studio is used only by the EC Web Design team to prepare, schedule and publish content for its clients’ accounts. This policy explains what EC Studio does with data received from TikTok and other platforms.
Data EC Studio receives from TikTok
When an account owner connects their TikTok account to EC Studio through TikTok Login Kit, EC Studio receives:
- basic profile information (display name, avatar, open ID) — scope
user.info.basic; - the list of the account’s public videos and their statistics (views, likes, comments, shares, duration) — scope
video.list; - the permission to send videos to the account as drafts or, when the owner confirms each post, to publish them — scopes
video.uploadandvideo.publish.
How EC Studio uses this data
- To show the connected account’s name before any upload, so the team always knows which account is targeted.
- To display past videos and their statistics in the EC Studio content calendar.
- To upload or publish videos that the account owner has approved.
EC Studio never sells, rents or shares TikTok data with third parties, and never uses it for advertising.
Storage and security
Access tokens are encrypted at rest on a server operated by EC Web Design in France. EC Studio is not reachable from the public Internet. Only the EC Web Design team can sign in.
Retention and deletion
Data is kept as long as the TikTok account stays connected. The owner can disconnect EC Studio at any time from EC Studio or from TikTok (Settings and privacy > Security > Manage app permissions). To request deletion of all data, email contact@ec-webdesign.fr: it is deleted within 30 days.
